Last Updated 2.5.2026

THIS SITE IS DEVOTED TO WORKS IN PROGRESS- BECAUSE WHAT I’M WORKING ON IS ALWAYS COOLER THAN WHAT I’VE FINISHED.*

THE CITY LAMP
(Estimated completion in 2026, handbuilt porcelain)
A piece which will eventually stand at an unfired 2.5 feet tall, his lamp will be a testament to the the many cities I’ve called home. The focal point of this lamp is a slab built center, meant to emulate the look of apartment windows, with a translucent underglaze painting in the center. This is cradled by bulging sidewalks below and stars above, which hold a pigeon. The stem of the lamp will represent the flowers which grow through the sidewalk cracks.

SIMIAN
(2022 - present, gouache and graphite on bristol paper)

A story about what happens when an alien anthropologist is forced to cohabitate with the last man on Earth. They both want to return to homes that no longer exist, these ideas of home are wildly different- how will their motivations collide and clash? Story written in 2022, Issue #1 published in 2024; Volume 1 is plotted but at present it remains uncertain whether the rest of the series will be released as a comic or an animation.

WHEN I DIE I WANT TO BE INFORMATION
(Estimated completion in 2026, oil)
A painting of me in the Utah desert, getting to know the internet footprint I will eventually leave behind.

MY NAME IS GOULASH
(2022 - present)
A satirical blog in which I roleplay as a severely maladjusted popstar named Goulash. Goulash is used to explore trending pop culture topics while occasionally leaning into the science fiction/horror elements you’d find if you pushed these topics to the extreme.

NOBODY’S GIRL (FOR CELESTE)
(Estimated to be completed in 2026, oil)
A painting of Celeste Rivas-Hernandez done in pastel pinks and blues. A bright red sun rises behind her. A child who’s known for the horrible way she was treated deserves to be remembered more gently.

VARIOUS PIECES FOR SOUNDFYND
(2026 - present)
That’s right, I moonlight as a very occasional music journalist. At present I have one piece out with Soundfynd- a review of Aidan Zamiri and Charli XCX’s The Moment- with forthcoming pieces covering budding indie scenes abroad and music’s exploitation of youth. I’m interested in how music is made, both when it comes to the production of songs/albums and the industry that churns them out.

MY BOYS AT THE END OF THE WORLD
(Estimated completion in 2026, will be done in oil)
A 4’ x 5’ painting depicting Ziggy and Leon- two of my seven cats- playing amongst the decimated remains of Northern California. An insert between them- my parents chatting as my dad holds a sleeping (soon-to-be-dead) newborn kitten. Born out of a mourning for the kitten and a fear of my two boys passing, this painting shows them outlasting us all.

7. SLEEPER CELLS
(Many efforts have been made, started in 2015)
Project with britpop, baroque pop, industrial, and 2000s indie influences. Currently unpolished- in the future, who knows?
